Review: I have enjoyed each of the stories in this series so far. While I wasn’t blown away by any one in particular, I found them to be solid, well written stories.
In this installment, we meet Vinny, an older guy (in porn years) who is known for his heavy scenes and reputation as an experienced Dom. He is called upon to help with Angel, a young guy who appears to have gotten in over his head. Vinny is asked to train or give Angel an idea of what to expect when he goes on a shoot with a fetish side of the company not known for careful handling of fetish virgins.
Angel has apparently had a thing for Vinny since he first discovered porn. He shows up wanting to submit to Vinny and learn what he can. What starts out as a training session quickly turns into something else, when Angel becomes more interested in being what Vinny wants than caring about doing the shoot.
Unfortunately, Vinny has some issues and is not looking for anything with Angel. This was a little contradicting in that Vinny’s last lover left him because he wouldn’t give him enough pain. Yet, with Angel, he turns him away because Angel isn’t a big enough pain slut. After Angel goes through with the scheduled shoot, with not very good results, he is brought back to Vinny to recover. Vinny again changes his tune and decides Angel is just what he needs.
I think these stories suffer a bit due to their length. I am a bit greedy in that I always seem to want more, which is a good thing, but in this case, I think that, had we been given a bit more, it would have been easier to understand where Vinny was coming from or his seeming about face. It may also have shown us a stronger connection between the guys. However, what we were given was well thought out, well written and pretty darn hot. You can always count on Ms. Barnaby to give a solid, believable story where the porn and BDSM stuff is concerned. If you’re looking for a smexy BDSM quickie, be sure to give this, and the others in this series, a try.
