Review:  I enjoyed this sweet story about lost love, reuniting and reigniting that love. I really enjoy stories that recount first times when they are well done. The flashback early on that shows us Tristan’s first time with Jamie back when they were teens was really sweet and sexy.  Unfortunately, a giant misunderstanding sends them on completely different paths that don’t cross again until some 10 years later.

This was a quick read, but it covers quite a bit of ground. Jamie still has to deal with some of the very issues that sent him running in the first place, and the two of them must get past the hurt that festered for that long as well.  You really get a sense of the challenges Jamie was facing at that young age with college choices, pleasing his family and trying to please himself.

The characters are both very likable and they fit well together.   They face a few more hurdles once they decide they won’t let each other slip away again, but they work through each of them together to make things work.

If you’re looking for a somewhat light, sexy and heartwarming at times, afternoon read, be sure to give this one a try.

Overall Impression: I liked it

*I received a copy of this book from the publisher in return for a fair and honest review.*
