With the help of Paul, his boss’s assistant he manages to weather the promotional gigs. Then there is his blossoming involvement with Angelo, a police detective he met soon after arriving in the city.
Everything is thrown into disarray when he finds out his boss may be trafficking with the Mafia. When he’s attacked, his life soon becomes a game of who to trust. Will it be Angelo or the very appealing FBI agent who puts him into protective custody to keep him alive until he can testify?

Review: OMG, this book made me so mad. I have no idea how to review this without giving away what pissed me off so much. Not mad in that I didn’t like the book, but mad at one…no, make that two, side characters…one of which I really thought was going to be the love interest…ugh, Bastard! Lies, Lies, Lies.
I love, and hate, when I am wrong. Mainly, I hate it, but I knew going in that Mark was going to have to decide between two love interests: Paul and Angelo. Unfortunately, I picked the wrong one. Dang it! I really liked that scumbag too. How was I to know that he was a fraud…but then again, everyone is a fraud in this book. And it was great
Besides a slow-burning attraction, we also get some action, mystery, intrigue, lies out the wazoo, and suspense. Who doesn’t like a little story with their romance, huh?
So yeah, I really liked it, but can’t really say a lot because, no matter what I write, it gives too much away. You, my friends, have just got to read it for yourselves.
Overall Impression:I really liked it
*I received a copy of this book from the publisher in return for a fair and honest review.*
