Blurb: How much can a Dom ask of his submissive? And how much of himself?
For Derek and Tyler, Dominance and submission have been part of their love right from the first hello. But now Derek wants his submissive to go as deep as he is physically and emotionally able to. During two days and two nights, there are no safety words and very few limits. This is their chance to demonstrate their love for one another through the most extreme scenes they’ve ever played.
There is, however, one rule to trump all others for Tyler—to protect Sir’s most loved possession, even if it means disobedience or going against his own need to submit to his Master without question or complaint.
This weekend will open up levels of their relationship they’ve never dreamed of before.

Review:
This is a story of a couple expanding on their BDSM play by committing to a weekend of Total Power Exchange (TPE). They both make sure they are on the same page before the collar is actually in place. Once it is, their weekend begins.
I had reservations about a book that takes place over the span of a weekend. I think the biggest problem for me is not having a good feeling of the relationship or feeling a strong connection with the guys before they’re jumping into such intense play. We get a glimpse in the prologue, but then it jumps hot and heavy into their weekend of Master/Sub.
This is basically one scene after another of Derek and Tyler pushing boundaries as a way to show the other how deep their love is. There is some pretty BDSM action, with Derek trying to push Tyler’s submissiveness to levels he hasn’t achieved through their regular play. There is definitely a high level of trust involved, and it is done in a safe, sane and consensual manner, even without the safeword, though it is mentioned that Tyler can end things whenever he wants.
These two are definitely committed to each other, and it shows in their total commitment to the roles they chose to play for the weekend. Derek uses pain and expects Tyler to endure simply because he wishes, whether it is something Tyler likes or not. These scenes were a little difficult for me, to be honest, perhaps because I had trouble feeling their connection. Even though I understood the TPE aspect, I think I was hoping for more consideration for the sub’s needs at times. This was a little confusing because in the beginning, Derek states that he is doing this all for Tyler, but I got a bit of a different impression at times as the story progressed.
Even though there were intense scenes throughout, they were very well done. If you are into the heavier BDSM aspects, you will most likely enjoy this quite a bit.
I would love to read a story about these guys either before or after this weekend showing more of their actual relationship and daily lives. I missed seeing how this weekend came about, as well as how it affected their relationship once it was over.
Overall Impression: It was good
