Blurb:  Kael Saunders, MI6 specialist operative and leather Daddy, has been living with Angel Button, his sub, for two years in a loving D/s relationship. Angel has been waiting for the time when he too can join MI6, knowing that his sniper skills make him a valuable asset to the organization. Kael loves to kill, it gives him an adrenalin rush, but Angel is certain his Daddy only eliminates those who pose a threat to national security, which is what Angel wants to do. Naive and idealistic, Angel wants to make the world a better place.

Angel’s beliefs are sorely tested a few days later, leaving him unsure if he wants to be an MI6 agent after all. When Kael is given an assignment in Cornwall, he takes Angel with him so they can have a weekend away. Angel finds out about the mission and the target and is left wondering if his Daddy is really the hero Angel thinks he is, placing their relationship in jeopardy.

Review: Angel and Kael are back! I believe this was my favorite of the series so far.

Things are going well for the guys. Angel is getting ready to begin training with MI6, something he believed he wanted for a long time and would be perfect for.

Kael is dealing with his issues over his father, who is now running to be the President of Russia. After learning about his real father (who had raped his mother) and just how shady and evil a man he really is, Kael tries very hard to keep his feelings and anger in check. Due to the fact that he performed an unsanctioned kill previously and his having skipped out on the required psychiatric visits for so many years, he must now finally attend sessions before being reinstated. So, Kael is not a happy camper when things start off here. Unfortunately, things get worse for him before they get better.

The best part of this story was the developments in their relationship. Angel is still completely enthralled with Daddy, and their relationship in that regard continues to work for the most part. They have some hurdles here and there, but Kael steps up to the plate and admits his wrongdoing. Certain events bring to light the extent of Kael’s job and him as a person that really send Angel into a tailspin. Add to that the missions MI6 is using him for, and he is questioning everything.

There is a lot going on here, but I never felt lost. And even though it has been some time since I last read about these two, I had no trouble picking right up with their story. They each have such a unique voice that made it very easy to do so. There are more bad guys, good guys who turn bad, and there is still Kael’s boss/handler, who secretly loves his time being Dommed by Kael. There is still more in the works with regards to Kael’s real father, and I’m really hoping to see more of this story. I don’t usually go for Daddy/Boy stories, and while they each haven’t wowed, me, this series always just worked for me, and I continue to look forward to each one.

Overall Impression: I really liked it
