Blurb: It’s been almost two years since Keegan and August escaped the Alaskan wilderness, and they finally get to celebrate their very first Christmas together.
But their plans for peace and quiet get turned upside down when Santa leaves more than just presents under the tree.
This is a stand-alone story, so if you haven’t read WILD you can still enjoy this little slice of life with Keegan, August, and Daisy.

Review: If you have already read WILD, you will surely want to catch up with Keegan and August now that they have been back in civilization for a while. And, if you haven’t read WILD yet, I highly recommend you do so in order to see how far these two have come.
This was a really sweet update on our fabulous couple now that they have recovered a bit and have started to move on with their new lives. They have the wonderful wolf, Daisy, by their sides, but she has brought home a little surprise – puppies! Much of this story centers around August taking care of them and Keegan as well as he struggles with his anxiety of being around people again. Surviving the wilds of Alaska for a decade was easier than the trips August has to make to the bustling pet store.
They continue to be more comfortable living with minimal material things, and it really adds so much to their relationship. It is so easy to see how much they love and care for each other and that Keegan would do anything he in his power to make August happy. I loved Keegan’s solution to the growing family/space issue, and it made everyone happy in the end.
I absolutely loved WILD, and getting to catch another glimpse of these guys was icing on the cake. Add in a happy holiday, and of course, cuddly puppies, and it’s a win win for me!
Overall Impression: I really liked it!
