Blurb: Sometimes to find love, you must first learn forgiveness.

A dozen years, two thousand miles, and a law degree after high school, Rafi Steiner continues to harbor resentment toward Isaac Jones, his childhood bully turned NBA star. When Isaac appears at Rafi’s favorite restaurant acting like a long-lost friend, Rafi bluntly dismisses him.

But Isaac is tenacious and he has his heart set on the grown-up version of the boy he always wanted and never forgot. The way Isaac sees it, he and Rafi are perfect for each other, if only he could sink the most important shot of his life: his one shot at forgiveness.

Review:

Isaac was a trip. I know he wasn’t supposed to be funny, but he had me rolling on the floor. How he went from being a bully to the hero was an amazing thing to witness, and I can’t tell you how many times I chuckled out loud or shook my head in amazement over the things he said or did.

Rafi was not as amused by Isaac’s antics like I was. One can’t blame him since he was focus of all of Isaacs bullying as kids. But life is not always black and white and sometimes we need to see the gray to get to the truth.

There is not a lot that I can say that won’t give this short away, but take a chance…it was cute, it was funny and it was sexy. A story of forgiveness and second chances…one doesn’t always get a shot at those so we need to applaud it when it works.

Overall Impression: I really liked it
