Review:
Eric’s been watching the cute neighbor with a crooked smile for a while now but never got up the courage to talk to him. Rhys has been doing the same, watching his adorable neighbor with the messy hair but never wanted to approach the man. But when Christmas comes around, their best friends think it’s the perfect time to push the two together and one holiday filled day might just be the thing that finally gets them to meet.
Omgosh, what an ADORABLE story. I’ve always been a sucker of neighbor to lovers so when I saw this one, I knew I wanted to read it. Needless to say, it was definitely worth the read sheerly because the two have both wanted to meet each other but never made the move to do so. I mean, some might think the fact they literally watch out their window while the other does something creepy but I found it so cute. And I liked that they had little nicknames for the ‘guy next door’ and how they just needed a little push to get the ball rolling.
This was a great little story but I wanted MORE! OMG, these Advent Calendar stories are like little teasers that deserve MUCH longer stories! I wanted to see more of Rhys & Eric together. Beyond that, I didn’t really like Eric’s best friend, Janet, she irritated me something fierce for some reason.
All in all, a cute story about neighbors that have been watching each other for weeks but never tried to talk or meet until their friends essentially push them together. It’s an adorable story that’s sure to give you a few smiles 🙂
Overall Impression: I really liked it!
