Blurb: All Mitch wants for Christmas is a quiet holiday free from grief. Patching up the face of the target of a mugging in the back alley of his bar seems to throw that wish right out into the cold Chicago night. But the tatted, pierced, and skinny-jean wearing Keller Graham is fearless and proves to be more than a pair of icy blue eyes lined in black. Keller may be a thief, but Mitch never expected him to steal his lonely heart.

When Mitch sees Keller getting beat up outside his bar, he can’t help but get involved and save Keller. And while Keller doesn’t want his help, Mitch won’t let him leave until his wounds are cleaned. A few minutes together turns into much longer when Mitch learns more about Keller and offers him to stay the night. But when Mitch wakes up the next morning, will Keller still be there or will he have moved on without saying goodbye?

I really enjoyed this one. I found it cute how much Mitch was into Christmas and how he decorated his bar to show his enthusiasm for the holiday. I really adored Mitch as a character because he seemed to have a soft heart while Keller was more jaded and skeptical. I liked them as characters but I also wished they had more depth to them. I would have liked to explore more into who Keller was and why he decided to stay with Mitch.

In the end, this was a lovely little holiday story. A classic tale of Mitch taking in Keller when he’s injured and giving him a place to stay. It’s very sweet and I absolutely adored the ending. I hope there’s more to come of these two because I’d love to see where they are in a few weeks, months or even years.

Overall Impression: I really liked it!
