Blurb:  Fiona Drazen, sex addict, submissive slave, celebutante, trapped in a mental ward until Dr. Elliot Chapman can help her remember why she’s there. But once she does, she might not want to go home to the Master she tried to kill.

***This is the first of a serial. It’s about 120 pages and ends in a cliffhanger, because that’s how I roll. There’s also a ton of drug use, and educated men who like dirty sex, because that’s also how I roll***

Review:  I wasn’t too sure about this at first, but it quickly grabbed my attention.

Fiona is a celebutante, not wanting for anything, fame and fortune and all that goes with it.  But she has some major issues.   For starters, she’s a sex addict.  She is in a relationship with Deacon that seems to work well for both of them, until it doesn’t.  Unfortunately, she can’t quite remember the events that led to where we are in this story – her being in an institution after having stabbed Deacon with a hoof knife.

Fiona pushes all kinds of boundaries, is in denial and need of help.  She finds that with Dr. Elliot Chapman who ends up earning a tiny bit of her trust.  He helps her come to grips with things and uses hypnosis to get to the root of her problems and memories.

This is a really fast read that had me on the edge of my seat.  Fiona is rude and crude and doesn’t care one iota who bears the brunt of it.  We get bits and pieces, just as Fiona does, but don’t get very far into her recovery or learn very many of the details of what took place, but the breadcrumbs left me wanting to jump right into book 2 to get more of this story.

Overall Impression:  I really liked it

*I purchased my own, personal copy of this book for review.*
