Blurb: Tristan Wilder, self-made millionaire and devastatingly handsome CEO of Wilder-Nation is on the verge of a very lucrative buyout. With tough negotiations ahead, he’s armed with his acquisition pitch, ready to launch the deal of a lifetime. There’s just one glitch. The last thing he expects is to fall for the hot business owner he’s trying to sway.

Dylan Reeves, computer science engineer and founder of the very successful social media site, Secret, is faced with a life-altering decision. A devoted family man with three kids and a wife, Dylan has been living a secret for years. Fiercely loyal to his convictions, his boundaries blur after meeting the striking owner of the corporation interested in acquiring his company. For the first time in his life, reckless desire consumes him when the gorgeous computer mogul makes an offer he can’t refuse.

Review: Tristan and Dylan stole my heart. I loved nearly everything about both of these guys. This story will remain, without a doubt, one of my favorite Kindle Alexander novels.

Dylan is a married man, a father of three children, and a devoted family man. So how can he possibly be a hero in a MM romance novel with that kind of baggage? Easy, he is married to his best friend, one who knows he is a gay man and loves him in spite of it. The marriage is not typical, but these two people popped out three babies, back to back, when they were very young. Not very responsible, but they both grew into incredible adults who made something incredible of their lives and put their children first. They did what they needed to do…and this is where the story takes off.

Dylan is a gay man who is about to become an empty nester who has never been in any situation with another man. How is that possible? Well, once you learn about him you realize that he is excellent at putting everyone’s needs above his own. Until he meets Tristan. Tristan is the first and only man to knock Dylan off his very high pedestal. Tristan is very much like Dylan. They both enjoy the same things, they both are committed to their companies, and they both have tons of integrity. Not to mention that they are both sexy as sin. Tristan is the perfect solution to the problems in Dylan’s life that he didn’t even know he had.

Tristan and Dylan’s story is not very angsty, thankfully, but it is not fast nor easy either. Even though these guys are older, in their thirties, they are still young enough to get hot and heavy, but mature enough to be stable and steady. It was an amazing combination and one that completely worked for me. I tend to enjoy most books by this author because I can relate to the characters and the world building. The realism is very attractive to me, and I look forward to what they come up with up next.

Overall Impression: It was amazing

*I received a copy of this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review.*
