Blurb: James is slim, built, and a vampire death over his limit. After one too many kills, the local vampire nest sends him an ultimatum.
“Work with us, or you won’t see morning.”
Working with a vamp isn’t ideal, even if his new partner is awfully cute – and an authentic Old-West cowboy to boot.
Can a too eager vampire hunter and Old West cowboy work together to complete their mission and more?
Review: What we have here is a short, fast-paced story of a vampire hunter and his unexpected attraction to a vampire, even though he was committed to killing them…all in the name of revenge.
James, unfortunately, has caught the attention of a band of vampires that forces him into working for them or die. The choice was non negotiable, but the reward was why he was a hunter to begin with. James, and his lust for cowboys, especially this cowboy vampire, was very simply written. The story moves quickly and there isn’t much in the way of depth, but it was fun.
The writing wasn’t my preferred style, and the many descriptions of a swimmers body or a football build was a little overkill, but ignoring those peeves of mine, it was still entertaining. This is a new author for me, and even though this one didn’t work for me as much as I was hoping, I will still give her a try again in the future.
Overall Impression: It was good
