Review: No matter how much you think you know what’s going to happen next, you will always be surprised in a Maggie Walsh book. Twists and turns galore. I knew Evan was carrying some heavy baggage, and even though his guilt was certainly not his to carry, he did so anyway. Raphael was a great alpha, and the fact that he’d accepted his gay son (Micah) at a time when being a gay wolf was considered an abomination, made me glad that he was the fated mate for Evan. Evan needed a strong man to help him carry his heavy load. Their story, once the past hurts were revealed and put to rest, was sweet and a lot sexier than I expected, just like the men.

What took me by surprise, and what actually won me over in this book, was the surprise fated mates for Demetrius and Mitchell. Can you imagine that? No? Well, guess you better read on because I am not going to spoil it for you. In a paranormal world where werewolves, witches, fae, and legion soldiers are common place, I did not expect that! I am so looking forward to seeing where the story goes from here. Read this series…if you like paranormal do yourself a favor and read this series. Fast paced and never boring, you can’t go wrong.

Overall Impression: I really liked it

*I received a copy of this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review.*
