Blurb:  Dan meets Brody while he’s on the prowl for a sacrifice. But the meeting proves to be more meaningful than either of them were hoping for. Will Brody take the place of the love Dan lost?

This is a very short, very creepy story about a guy who has some major issues. He is clearly mentally unstable at best, and the story is too short to give us any insight as to what is really going on in his mind as he kidnaps, kills (and even eats) and takes apart his victims. He tells us it is all for the one he loved, but then we see what happened with the “one he loved” and it is pretty effed up, to say the least.

Thank goodness this was a shorty, because it is a big burst of brutal shrouded in creepiness. Of course, I was intrigued and wanted to know more, wanted to understand and see how it would all play out. But, just as always with a Kol Anderson story, things don’t ever turn out as expected and there are even a few other turns before you get there.

If you are a fan of horror stories, this one might be right up your alley, but make sure you haven’t eaten first! 😀

P.S.  That cover is perfect!

Overall Impression: I liked it

*I received a copy of this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review.*
