Blurb: Everything’s bigger in Texas, including weddings. And misunderstandings.

Colorado wedding planner Mason O’Reilly lands a major contract: a two-hundred-guest wedding at the Leanin’ N Ranch, where his friends Ford and Stoney are working to provide a safe space for GLBT events. The Wright/Preston ceremony is a destination wedding, and as the grooms are from Texas, everything is done over the phone and email. There’s no way that could lead to trouble, right?

Oops.

Oil tycoon Noah Wright isn’t happy about the impending disaster, but he admires Mason’s quick thinking and grace under pressure. And that’s not all he likes about the out-and-proud wedding planner. Even though Mason’s interested in Noah, his Mr. Right can’t possibly be a rancher from Dallas.

Can he?

Review:

When Mason lands a huge wedding contract, he’s excited to finally take his business to the next step. All he has to do is make sure the wedding goes off without a hitch! Unfortunately, while preparation go well, when the wedding party start arriving, Mason realizes they messed up one gigantic detail and it’ll take all his efforts and skills to clean up the mess. So when Noah Wright shows up early to make sure everything’s well in hands, he and Mason get off to a rough start. But when Mason shows he can handle a little set back, Noah is impressed and before long, their attraction turns into something more. But Noah lives in Texas and Mason lives in Colorado and long distance relationships are tough as it is before you start bringing in financial aspects. Will they be able to work through being miles and miles apart?

When I saw there would be a sequel to Commitment Ranch, I was so stoked! I couldn’t wait to read it because I absolutely adored Ford and Stoney! I couldn’t wait to get my little hands on this one and to say I’m not disappointed is an understatement. I ADORED this book. I love that B.A. is able to put so much fire into these Dreamspun books without making it so smutty. Plus, I loved the rather large bomb that was dropped about the wedding. I mean, HELLO. I would have been freaking out and probably quit if something like that happened!

As for the characters, I loved Mason. I loved that he had so much spirit in him but was also a bit sassy. He got along great with everyone and I really liked how he was able to plan everything and work through problems so easily. As for Noah, I didn’t much like him in the beginning.  I didn’t really feel as if we were really getting to know him because he was so cagey in the beginning to the point of being a douche bag. I found myself taking a really long time to warm up to him but by the end, I loved how much he went through to keep the relationship going for them.

Overall, I really enjoyed this one. It’s a total feel-good story with a good amount of laughs to it. I loved the characters, the setting and the premise of the story. I hope this isn’t the last we see of the Leaning N because there is so much more potential in this series! Definitely give it a go if you’re looking for a sweet story with just a touch of angst to it.

Overall Impression: It was amazing!

*I received a copy of this book from the publisher in return for a fair and honest review.*
