Blurb: Mars enters Pisces, giving Beckett Cooper the opportunity to assert himself when it comes to a secret infatuation; his best friend’s younger brother Levi. But can Beckett trust what’s in front of him and be brave enough to take what he wants?

With Venus in Virgo, people usually become more reserved, but Levi Byrne always takes the opposite road of what’s expected of him. So, instead of pulling back, he reaches out for a man he’s been interested in for years; Beckett Cooper.

Is it the celestial bodies aligning to bring together two people destined for each other? Or is it a simple tale of boy meets boy, boy likes boy, and boy wants to kiss boy? Do Beckett and Levi even care, or are they too busy getting to know each other … and falling in love?

Review:

I’m such a sucker for brother’s best friend or best friend’s brother stories. They draw me in right from the start and this one was no exception. I loved that Beckett has been yearning for Levi and vice versa. It was cute how they were tentative of starting even a friendship at first, let alone a relationship but I liked that Levi let his brother know first that he was going to ask Beckett out. I found that so endearing and how Levi was so considerate of Beckett and his tastes when it came to their dates. As for Beckett, I loved the fact that he was a big teddy bear. He wasn’t a little twink but, in fact, big boned and hairy and Levi loved every inch of Beckett and did everything he could to show Beckett that’s what attracted Levi to Beckett. Also, I loved the little horoscope’s that Beckett would read, they were hilarious!!

I really enjoyed reading this one but I felt like it wasn’t long enough to really give the book justice. It had so much potential but I didn’t feel like we knew Levi and Beckett as much as we should have. I would have liked to see more of them going on dates (although their first day was extremely adorable) and more of how Beckett fits in with Levi’s family and them taking the next step.

All in all, this was a cute little snippet of a story. I enjoyed Levi and Beckett as characters and I loved them as a couple. They were super cute and I just wished it had been longer so we could have gotten to know more of them and their relationship. I hope there’s more to come of them because I want to see what happens next in their lives.

Overall Impression: I really liked it

*I received a copy of this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review.*
