Review:

OH MY GOD! Here I thought book one was a little dysfunctional, and I naively chalked that up to lack of maturity and stupidity of age, but Oh, My, GOD. Whereas book one was the beginning of a not-so-healthy relationship, this installment was pure toxicity. And it ends on such a horrible cliffhanger that I am pulling my hair out wanting the next book. Which, by the way, sounds like things might be making a positive turn considering the title is Love HOPE Repeat. But seriously, I am almost afraid to keep reading because at this point I don’t see how these two boys (they are definitely not acting like men) can recover from the ending of this book.

In the first book I was unprepared for the darkness I was walking into, but it was pure white light compared to this one. Honestly, how is it possible to love someone so completely but treat them like crap…on both sides. Both Damian and Kell struggle with communication skills, and both need their heads knocked together. I am still in shock over the ending of this book, but I shouldn’t be because the entire story was leading up to some big showdown. I just didn’t expect that!

Now, this may sound like I didn’t like the book, but that is false. It is written really well, I just didn’t expect that it was truly a road map on how not to treat your boyfriend. Anyway, you will need some pretty thick skin to read this series and lots of praying that Damian and Kell either grow up, or split up permanently. Considering I don’t know this author, I have no idea where she is leading us, I can only hope that we get some type of closure in the next book because neither these boys, nor the reader (me), can take much more.

Overall Impression: I really liked it

*I received a copy of this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review.*
