Blurb: The team of Carter Sinclair and Riley Thompson has ruled the sport of Beach Volleyball for years.

Partners on the court for six years, and friends with benefits off the court for almost as long.

Until a photo of Sin and Riley in a compromising position goes viral.

Shouldn’t be a problem, Sin and Riley have been together for years.

Except, Riley is straight. Or so he claims.

But when Sin’s estranged father dies, something as mundane as a sex scandal is the least of their worries.

Scandal not of their own making puts Riley’s dream of Olympic gold on hold. And threatens to cost him his partner… on the court and off.

He has two choices, he can pretend the photo never happened, and find a new partner. Or… admit his feelings and choose a lifetime of Courting Sin.

Review:

Of course, I held off reading this because the cover looked too sweet and innocent to belong to Mercy Celeste. Boy, was I ever wrong. This is pure Mercy Celeste so you know that means… off the wall, real dialogue, hot as hell sexy times, and a convoluted route to that elusive happy ever after. But what a great ride it was. I am still surprised I didn’t jump on this the minute it passed my radar, but live and learn…and never, ever pass up a Mercy Celeste book.

We have sports, beach volleyball players to be exact, who are on-field partners and off-field friends with benefits. Sounds easy and fun, but not when one of the guys is gay and the other is mostly straight…except with Sin. Carter “Sin” Sinclair is a big guy, gay, one of the best (if not the best) volleyball players in the world, and he has secrets. Riley is a bigger guy, also one of the best volleyball players in the world, and secretly harbors feeling for his partner…that goes beyond sinful sex, but that can’t be right because he screws women, too, right?

These two have been best buds and team mates for six years and the adrenaline fueled sex is just a bonus. Until feelings get involved. Until a crazy chain reaction occurs when they are caught in flagrante. And gets even worse with the family drama that starts consuming Sin. I said he had secrets, right? Well, think worse case scenarios in your head and you will still probably miss quite a bit. This is Mercy at her best, so prepare yourself. Highly recommended.

Overall Impression: I loved it!

*I received a copy of this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review.*
