“This is our line,” Adam declared, leading me to the first tree of a long line that flowed down into the distant valley.  He tossed his basket onto the grass. “You collect the windfalls; I’ll do the high ups.” Adam ducked and picked up a blushed scarlet apple from the grass.  He looked it over for rot and worms, wiped it on his shirt, and then sank his teeth into the red skin. The crunch I heard told me that this variety of pomme was firm and fleshy.  Juice trickled over Adam’s stubble-free chin, and he smiled, looking at me in a way that, with all of my experience of bedding men, appeared to be flirtatious in intent.  He chewed noisily. I had not observed such an erotic display since I’d left Thorn.  He watched me cautiously as he ate and then licked the juice from his lips and offered the bitten apple to me.  I stepped forward hungrily to accept it, and he tossed the apple. I plucked it from the air with my right hand.

“Good reflexes,” Adam said with a grin.  He turned to walk back the way we came.

“Eat as many apples ye can stomach, Win Harding,” he hollered, “But I don’t advise bingin’ or ye’ll give yerself a runny bum,” he added, laughter evident in his voice.  “Now, start collectin’ those windfalls,” he instructed, “I’ll go stable Applejack an’ raid ma’s larder.”

I couldn’t deny the laugh that burst from me at hearing Adam’s outrageous comment.  The laughter brought with it such a joyous sensation of release. It was strange. I’d been carrying the weight of the world on my back for these past two weeks, and just a few minutes in the company of Adam Sewell made me feel light.  All was not lost. There were still good souls still left in the world, and my heart swelled with hope. I watched as Adam walked away, unable to take my eyes off the roundness of his shapely backside in tight brown britches. I shook my head in an attempt to rid it of the lustful thoughts.

I turned to the gnarly, twisted apple tree and fell to my knees in the moist, cold, loam at its base, clutching the bitten apple Adam had gifted to me.  I could see his teeth marks in the skin and how they’d torn away the pale juicy flesh. I wanted to place my mouth where Adam’s had been, lick it and drink in the sweetness, all the while dreaming about how he would taste.  Was that wrong?  I had no idea about Adam’s tastes at all.  I didn’t know if Adam was just kind or my kind.

Simeon Duchamp stared out of his bedroom window at the Phoenix Clinic, a private rehabilitation clinic overlooking Lake Zurich and the snow-capped Swiss Alps, where he was receiving treatment for alcohol, drug, and internet addictions. Sim was addicted to sex too, but he would rather die than admit to that and spend his life trying to abstain from cock!

It was a glorious spring morning; the sky was a sharp arctic blue. Thickets of trees on the perimeter of the vast wooded lakeside grounds swayed in the gentle breeze. A group of six patients were completing their early morning yoga class on the main lawn, bending and bowing with their final leonine stretches.

Simeon watched the group do their sun salutations, downward dogs and child poses, secretly wishing he were with them, and that he could stay cocooned and pampered at the clinic forever.

Simeon’s world had shattered two years ago when he fell in love with his fellow model and best friend, Pieter Bayer. Pieter never returned the same level of affection and had, in fact, fallen for someone else. On discovering that Pieter was in a relationship with painter Emily Raven, Simeon couldn’t cope with what he saw as rejection. In spite and jealousy, while under the influence of a mixture of substances, Sim decided it would be fitting revenge to leak false information about Pieter to a fashion gossip website. The information was shared and commented on by millions of followers.

The fall-out from that sorry exercise was nearly disastrous for Pieter’s career—Clients falsely believed he was walking away from his contractual obligations, and he was deemed unreliable and unprofessional.

However, after Simeon’s exposure as the source of fake information, his career began to falter. Clients refused to work with him, friends dropped him like he was on fire, and the backlash became intolerable. Simeon disappeared, and when his father’s investigators eventually found him at a hotel in

Geneva, he was trying to kill himself with a cocktail of vodka and pills. The intervention by his father, Patrice, and subsequent treatment at the Phoenix Clinic saved Simeon’s life.

After three months as a patient at the clinic, Simeon’s hedonistic, outrageous model façade dissolved, along with the drugs and alcohol that were purged from his system. Beneath his camp, party boy mask there was a quieter, more introspective, sensitive young man—a man who felt everything too keenly, loved too deeply, and could not cope with the pain of loss and rejection.

Sober for the first time since his late teens, Simeon was as fragile as a fledgling and bewildered by the colors, scents, and sounds of the big wide world. Who was Simeon Duchamp without his mask, without the crutches of alcohol and drugs giving him the confidence to get through each day?

A gentle knock on the bedroom door startled Simeon from his introspection. He looked away from the window toward the door to see his favorite young male nurse Karl, poke his head inside.

“Your last session with Dr. Schroeder is in twenty minutes,” he informed.

“One for the road?” Karl’s brows waggled provocatively.

“SAM!  Are ye home?”  Declan hollered as he opened the front door.  “Sam?”

“In here.”  Sam’s distant voice filtered from the spare bedroom.  Declan was in a buoyant mood, at last, after weeks of waiting, he’d received a call from his boss.  He sauntered confidently towards the bedroom and knocked once before walking in.

“Why d’ye no’ pick up?  I’ve called ye, like, six times already!  James wants us in fer a meet —” Declan stopped, and in the way, only Sam Aiken could do, the breath was stolen from his lungs.

Declan’s yoga mat was laid out in the center of the large bedroom floor, and upon it, a shamelessly nude Sam Aiken was facing the tall antique mirror that rested against the wall.  He was on his belly, his back bowed, and his palms pushing against the floor as his shoulders rose in the midst of the cobra pose.

Declan slumped to sit silently on the king-size bed and watch.  He stared, bug-eyed and slack-jawed at all of that flawless pale skin, wrapped around an athletic, slim frame.  Declan adored how pliant and supple Sam was.  He reveled in the sight of corded muscles moving beneath the taut surface of the younger man’s skin, like the workings of a well-honed machine.

Ignoring his voyeur, Sam pushed himself up from the cobra pose, so he sat back on his calves.  He closed his eyes and focused on his breath, and then, when he was ready, placed his palms flat on the mat, level with his knees.  Then, putting all of his weight on his hands, Sam drew his legs out to either side of his body, doing the splits, balancing solely on his hands.

Declan’s bearded jaw dropped open, and his heart skipped a beat at the impressive sight.  The mirror allowed Declan to observe Sam from many angles, and the view was exquisite.  He knew there was a reason he was home early, but, whatever the hell it was, it could wait.

Sam aligned his legs and bought them up above his head, so he was in a handstand position, and there he stayed for a minute, his breath shallow and barely audible.  There was not one tremble in any of Sam’s muscles.  It was awe inspiring.  Sam was the very picture of oneness—strength, control, balance, and agility.  The lines of Sam’s form were sinuous and erotic, and there was no stopping the hot, hot hunger that made Declan’s whole being shudder with need.

Sam’s spine arched back and with incredible discipline, his body bowed slowly, until the soles of his feet were placed firmly on the yoga mat, and Sam was in the crab position.  He was trying so desperately to focus on his own breath and to remain centered, but Declan was breathing heavily through his nose, like a stag readying for the rut, and even though Sam could not actually see him, Declan’s presence always came with the prickle of otherworldly electricity.  It really was like they were magnetized.

The sound of heavy breathing was doing things to Sam’s body that he just could not control.  His heart beat faster, beads of sweat littered his brow and formed on his chest, and his pale cock reddened, filled and rose majestically, providing an extra spectacle for his handsome observer.  Sam arched his spine to its capacity and inched to his toes and fingertips.  He stayed like that, his muscles clenched tight and his cock standing straight as a flagpole awaiting its flag.  After a minute, he slowly unclenched his muscles and allowed his body to ease its way gently back to the mat.  Each movement still effortlessly controlled.

This naked yoga routine was on the list of the most erotic things that Declan had ever seen in his life.  And now that Sam was on his back, his eyes closed, with arms stretched above his head.  Declan decided that this was his opportunity to pounce.

“Our final guest has arrived,” Emily announced triumphantly, her eyes mischievously meeting those of her partner-in-crime, Pieter, who’d come up with the master plan to challenge Simeon to a ‘cook-off.’  Pieter returned her stare and smirked as Simeon’s jaw dropped in realization of what he was seeing.

Emily knew they had done the right thing when she saw the way Simeon and Bastian stared at one another, their eyes as large as saucers.  The electricity between them was palpable.  Simeon could be a bit of a motor mouth, but on seeing Bastian Roth standing in the open plan kitchen, Simeon Duchamp appeared to be lost for words.

“Good to meet you,” Pieter said, stepping in to break the awkward silence and offering a hand to Bastian.  “You have great taste in art,” he joked.

“Ah, yes, the collection I purchased,” Bastian smiled warmly, shaking Pieter’s slender, elegant hand in both of his own.  “How could I resist.  Your partner is a very talented painter.  She captures your beauty so well.”  Pieter blushed.  Bastian turned and strolled behind the kitchen island to greet Simeon.
