Review:
Whiskey Wishes: This was a cute story about small town living and finding true love in unlikely places. The main hurdle was Jamie’s coming out, because the two fell for one another on sight. It was fairly unremarkable, but all the Irish flavor was nice. 3 of 5 stars.
Flickers: I loved this story. It was funny and sweet, and a little sad. I though the premise interesting and was so pleased with the ending: an epilogue for a short story! 4.5 of 5 stars
Charmed: I loved this story all the way up to the end. It was going and going and going – great – super high sexual tension, sweet love story, funny dialog – then pow – it ended, and frankl, I was disappointed. 3.5 of 5 stars
Click Your Heels Three Times: This was the worst of the lot, very confusing, with writing that was hard to follow. 2 of 5 stars
Franipani Kisses: This was a nice story, not really a romance, but a fairly sweet story of a gay man finding “himself”. 3 of 5 stars
Torch: I loved this story. It was erotic and emotional, a little funny and sweet. For a short story, it packed quite the punch. I will be looking for this author in the future. 5 of 5 stars
Miles to Go: This was my favorite of the lot. Super sweet. A man finally realizing his true sexuality with the help of a younger, very “out” gay babysitter. It was tender, hot and funny all at the same time. Definitely an author to follow. 5 of 5 stars
Overall Impression: I really liked it!
