Blurb: Even this grumpy bear can’t resist this chipmunks charm.

Dallas likes the life he has. He’s the proud owner of the donut shop, Honey Cakes, and now owns the home he grew up in White Pine. He thought his life was perfect until Nikko the chipmunk sashayed into his life. Now, Dallas doesn’t know if he wants to push the spunky chipmunk away or make love to him.

Nikko has known since the moment he saw Dallas that he wanted the bear. Nothing, even the grouchiness of the gorgeous bear will keep him from making Dallas his own. But how can Nikko get Dallas to see they belong together?

Since Nikko came to town, he’s known he wanted Dallas and has done everything he could to tempt the bear. Working together definitely teases Dallas into wanting something more from Nikko but he’s comfortable in his life and he’s not willing to give that up for a chipmunk. But even as Dallas pushes Nikko away, can he stand the thought of the chipmunk being with someone else?

Awwww, adorableness, thy name is Dallas and Nikko! I adored this book to pieces! It was so darn cute, I loved the fact that Nikko was such a feisty chipmunk with so much spunk, I found myself cracking up more than once at his actions, especially when, as a chipmunk, he took down the big bear! As for Dallas, I found him endearing because he didn’t want to be attracted to Nikko but he couldn’t help himself from being drawn to the man.

I feel like a broken record saying this but I wanted MORE! Ms. Nacht needs to make her stories longer because I want more of these characters and this world! I want to explore more of the first moments of a relationship especially to see it right after they finally get together.

In the end, another great story by Ms. Nacht. I loved the continuation to this series and am so glad to see Dallas get his story. I adored the characters and I loved the fact Nikko had Dallas so tied up in knots. I know the next story is a Xmas story featuring them and Gunner and Phillip and I soooooo cannot wait for it!

Overall Impression: I really liked it!

*I received a copy of this book from the publisher in return for a fair and honest review.*
