Blurb:  Dark forces, a vampire, plus one sexy cop is a recipe for trouble.

VINCENT KAMATEROS is no longer the lonely exiled vampire running a cupcake shop, but the heir to his father’s throne.

JOHN REEDER is out and accepts his vampire lover, but he has to deal with his lover being destined to rule the vampire kingdom.

While Vince and John revel in their newfound love, dark forces are at work in Orbus Arcana, determined to keep the progressive Vince from becoming the next vampire king.

Time is short and decisions loom. Their irrevocable choices will change their lives forever.

Review: In Book Three, we find Vincent and John on vacation, enjoying just being in love. (Awwww!) But Vincent knows he has to go back to Verno to take his rightful spot as heir-to-the throne and that John is not welcome there. Vincent feels John isn’t safe in Arizona either, especially when he finds a “spy” following them on their vacation. So…Vincent must convince his father to allow John entrance to Verno and then convince John he needs to come and be protected.

In Verno: they uncover a plot to have Vincent killed, Angelo continues to “test” John for his worthiness as life-mate to Vincent, the King wrestles with the concept of the heir-to-the-throne having a mate that is male and a human, John wrestles with his own frailties and perceived competition from ex-lovers, and Vincent worries constantly about John’s safety.
There are several fights, many life-threatening wounds, lots of deliciously sentimental and erotic smexy times, black magic, back-stabbing, soul-searching, a new possible love-story in the making and a visit from one of the Gods before we get our amazingly satisfying HEA.

Wow! This third installment in the Orbus Arcana series has a little bit of everything. You absolutely must have read books one and two to follow this, it won’t make sense as a stand-alone. Vincent and John fight now and then in this book, but mostly they are ridiculously sweet with one another and satisfyingly sentimental and loving.

This book felt more about John than the prior two books. He has to decide what to do about coming out to his family. What to do about his life on Earth. What to do about being human. I absolutely loved the way this part of the story played out and was on the edge of my seat at the end when…Nope! You’re gonna have to read it to see how it turns out!

Angelo and Jude Mikhail are a tremendously cute (hopefully) future couple, and I hope we get to see more of them soon.

I adored the writing, the love between John and Vincent, the action, the paranormal aspects of Verno…. Well… everything!

This was a fantastic finish for John and Vincent’s story – but… it’s left at a point where we might just have another book or books in our future with either these characters or with other MCs.

I highly recommend this book and the entire series, and I truly hope this isn’t the end!

P.S. on Kindle Unlimited, it is FREE!!

Overall Impression: It was amazing

*I purchased my own, personal copy of this book for review.*
