Blurb: Tyler Mitchell has worked hard to rebuild his life after his family kicked him out. A culinary student and sous chef who spends his spare time volunteering with kids, he’s happy enough even though he has no time to consider a relationship.

Trevor Pratt is finally getting over losing the one person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, but it’s taken screwing every cute guy in Manhattan to get there. He’s vowed to repair the friendship he broke along the way, but that’s hard to do when his friend’s new employee catches his eye. Despite being warned to stay away from Tyler, Trevor turns on the charm.

Romance is a terrible idea. Trevor is ten years older and a relentless playboy. Tyler is still unsure of his place in the world. Neither of them is ready for life-changing love, but as things heat up, their chemistry in the bedroom might just take that decision out of their hands.

Review:

Tyler’s finally at a good place in his life. Living on his own after his parents kicked him out, he’s got a good job as a sous chef, going to culinary school and has two pseudo big brothers to call family. For the past few years, Trevor’s tried his hardest to get over Jamie by sleeping his way through Manhattan. When he visits Jamie and sees Tyler, Trevor’s warned to stay away but no matter how hard he tries, he can’t seem to forget about the skinny, shy sous chef. But Trevor’s not good with relationships and when things start to get serious between them, he has to make a choice: fight for the love he could have with Tyler or give him up completely.

Oh, how I loved this book!!! If you haven’t read this series yet, you need to do so RIGHT NOW! I loved reading about Tyler and Trevor. It was interesting to see Trevor, the sorta “bad guy” in the previous books find redemption and a love of his own. I adored both Tyler and Trevor, though. Tyler is so cute and a little bit awkward and a whole lot shy while Trevor is more charming and endearing, always one to flirt with everyone. However, they’re both guarded and afraid to let others in so when they let that guard down, it was so fascinating and interesting to see. They’re complete opposites but they fit so well together because, in a way, they understand each other.

My only issue with this one is that it was very repetitive when it came to Trevor’s past as a man whore. I would have like to see less of that repetitiveness and more of Trevor explaining to Tyler that he hadn’t had sex with anyone in like months to show Tyler that he was serious… unfortunately, that was never brought up 😦

In the end, though, I really loved this book. I loved that Trevor got his story and that it was with Tyler. They’re a perfect couple, complete opposites but absolutely adorable and HOT together! I loved their journey to finding love and I really hope this isn’t the last in the series because I can’t wait to see who gets their story next!!!

Overall Impression: I loved it!

*I received a copy of this book from the authors in return for a fair and honest review.*
