Blurb: The book that puts YOU in the middle of a zombie outbreak.
You are one of the last survivors in a city overrun by the walking dead. The news reports say it’s the result of a government experiment gone wrong, and advise citizens to remain indoors to wait for aid. But you’re not getting any safer, and you’d be wise to get out of town while you can.
The zombies aren’t your only concern, however.
Thieves, cults, roadblocks, gun-nut survivors, and military defenses are just some of what you’ll have to deal with as you make your escape. It’s the one little thing you don’t expect, one wrong turn, one bad decision that will get you killed.
It’s going to take more than guts and a gun to get you out alive. Use your knowledge of the event, your instincts, and every ounce of your luck. Maybe it will be enough. Maybe you’ll find the One Way Out and…
Escape from Zombie City.
Review: I love zombie movies, zombie video games, zombie stories…and now I love zombie interactive books where you, the reader, decide the outcome. I was so addicted to this book and was pulling my hair out trying to make the right choices so that I could survive. Needless to say, I died many times and was sent back to the beginning to start over. I can’t even explain properly how exciting and stressful this book was to me. It was written in first person so that I was the one running away from these crazy flesh eaters, the humans who stole my weapons, and doing everything I could think of to get out of the city overrun by zombies.
There is no romance here, there is only survival of the fittest and the smartest. And sometimes the obvious choice for survival got you killed and the riskiest choice gets you to the next level. Like I said, it was nerve wracking, and I think I went through every option available before I finally survived and escaped Zombie City. If you are a horror and zombie fan, then I believe you will love this book. I am looking forward to reading the next book, Escape from Zombie Island, and this time I will be taking more chances and hope to get off the island before I die many horrible, horrible deaths. What fun!!
Overall Impression: I really liked it
