Blurb: Donali Lyons eyes the perfect piece of man candy headed his way. He’s stumped when he discovers that the man is his mate…and has a date.

Drugged, Lance Stark wakes up naked, tied to a chair…and married to the wrong man.

Can his cat shifter mate save him from a delusional groom or will it be discovered that cats don’t have nine lives???

Deceptions, crazy assassins, government conspiracies and a romance so hot it melts off the pages, all tie into this epic shifter tale.

Review: This was a good little story with a nice twist on shifter theme. We have Donali as the cat shifter who actually has four shapes he can shift into, can get pregnant, and though very small is actually a fireball. And we have Lance, the human son of the VP of the United States, who is also the club owner and mate of Donali. Unfortunately, just as Lance and Donali meet, other forces are put into play to keep them apart…permanently.

There is a lot going on in this fast=paced story, including political underworld shenanigans, kidnapping, mercenaries, clubbing, forced marriage, and lots of fighting and sex. Unfortunately, the writing is a bit choppy and the point of views change rapidly and unexpectedly. A couple times I had to back track to figure out who was speaking. I think the formatting was off a bit because there were no obvious chapter breaks and it appeared that the next chapter occurred as the next paragraph, which threw me off at first. And what’s with the self-lubricating butt hole, so gross, lol.

Otherwise, this was an entertaining story, and I found myself constantly wondering what would happen next, or how the guys would get out of whatever situation they currently found themselves in. I know that there will be more stories involving other notable characters, including Carter and One Shot, which surprised me because they really are the bad guys in this book and it will be difficult to see how they redeem themselves. But the twists and turns kept me interested so I will be looking froward to reading more.

Overall Impression: It was good

*I received a copy of this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review.*
