Blurb:  The final chapter in the Senseless Series begins the story from where it ends in book one.

What happens to Colton?

Is Jason going to be able to save his brother or will Devyn and the others win at their game?

Find out what happens in the last installment of ‘Senseless.’

Review: If anyone has read Senseless 1, which you absolutely must do prior to reading this installment, you have been on the edge of your seat waiting to find out what happens next. When we were forced to leave Colton in the last book, he was on the run after having narrowly escaped his captors. Luckily, this story picks up right where that left off. It felt like I had been holding my breath and just let out a big gasp as we find ourselves in the rainy woods, battered and almost broken but still trying to run.

Colton isn’t done yet, but unfortunately neither are his captors. There is eventually a rescue and Colton trying to put the pieces of himself back together while Jason tries his best to make that happen. There are a few more twists and turns as things play out, revenge takes over, more lines are crossed, and through it all, these guys are trying to get a hold of things mentally. There are so many things still standing in their way of any kind of happiness though. Will Jason get over his guilt or his need for revenge and vigilante justice? Will Colton ever be the same? Will his feelings change for Jason as a result of his actions? Who can they trust when so many have betrayed them? And will those that do feel the same when they know the truth about their relationship? Will they ever escape the life that was thrust upon them? So many questions, but thankfully we get the answers to most, if not all, of those as the story plays out.

Once again, Kol gives us a story that is dark and depraved but has you rooting for the players involved. You can never allow yourself to get too comfortable with how things are going, because he will change directions and throw you for a loop every time, yet leave you satisfied after you have completed the ride. They are never a disappointment, and if you can handle things a bit on the darker side, I highly recommend you give any of Kol’s books a try.

Overall Impression: I loved it!

*I received a copy of this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review.*
