Blurb: This mountain lion is out to chase his skittish chipmunk down.
Jason has always lived under the protection of his twenty brothers and sisters. Even though he cares for his neighbor, Will, when a chance to leave the home he’s lived in forever, Jason takes the chance and runs to White Pine. Unfortunately, some of his brothers are coming along for the ride.
Will can’t believe his shy chipmunk just up and moved. Through the meddling of Jason’s sisters and a best friend who lives in White Pine, Will chases Jason to White Pine. Will they be able find the connection in White Pine where they couldn’t at home?
I’m not going to go into much detail about this one because the story is short and the blurb does a pretty good job of describing it. What I will say is that I’ve absolutely adored this series so far! This one is probably my favorite because Jason and Will start off as neighbors and only have brief encounters together before Jason decides to go to White Pine.
I just loved that Jason was trying to get away from his smothering family and broaden his horizons, so to speak, and ended up still having a few brothers tag along. I also loved that there was obviously enough of a connection between Jason and Will that Will followed Jason to White Pine to track him down. I loved them both together, they were just so cute because they were so different! My only issues is I wanted it to be longer! These stories are wayyyy too short!!!
In the end, a super cute story! These little stories are like crack and I loved seeing another chipmunk get a story. This one was my favorite because Jason is so quiet and sweet and I adored that Will is his exact opposite. I can’t wait to see who gets their story next!
Overall Impression: I really liked it!
