Matt couldn’t get enough of the way Xander tasted on his tongue. The mixture of his own musk with Xander’s natural taste was heady and intoxicating. Matt writhed under him, rubbing his whole body against Xander, letting their smells and tastes mix and merge into a fog that he wanted to drown in.
Xander seemed to forget his search for the lube as he held onto Matt tightly, sweat built between them merging them closer together. Matt needed more, needed to get closer, needed to have Xander inside of him. Taking up the search for the lube, he plunged his hand under the pillow and found it right away.
Matt stilled and pulled back slightly, handing the bottle over to Xander. Xander stopped and looked down into his eyes as he took it. Matt reached up and caressed Xander’s cheek as he suddenly grew serious. “No matter what happens, make sure you come back to me, yeah?” Matt’s voice was hushed, and he smiled to try to cover up the roughness his emotions created in it.
Xander lowered his head and kissed him so very softly that he almost didn’t feel it. “I love you, you know, and I wouldn’t even imagine not coming home to you.” Xander kissed his nose lightly and grinned at the huff Matt made when he swiped his tongue across it. “Don’t worry, Mathieu.” Xander continued, placing light kisses across his face and down his neck.

This is the first book in a new series about dragons who want nothing more than to live in peace, but refuse to be subjugated. In war there’s also love, and love is blind. Love doesn’t care about gender, race, species (in this case), or sexuality.
Warning: This book contains explicit sexual content between consenting adults. The sexual scenes are MM, MF, and MMF. There are romantic relationships depicted that are MM. There is also a high level of explicit language, snark, kink, and possibly bad puns and fart jokes.
This book does end in a cliffhanger. Book 2 will be released in November 2018.
