Blurb: Uri Kessler is a bit of a klutz. Recently divorced from a guy he married too quickly and yearning to have a holiday that feels special, he decides to make Hanukkah candles. The results are literally a blazing disaster. But Uri’s mishap helps him get to know Oscar Cortez, his sexy new neighbor, and the two men instantly hit it off. While Uri finds himself drawn to Oscar, he’s also afraid to make a mess of their budding relationship. It’ll take a small miracle to make things work between them.

Review:

I think the blurb of this short story had me with the word “klutz” *laugh*. What can I say, I love people who are a little bit un-coordinated. I’m a dropper, myself. I drop a LOT of things, so I can connect to them.

The story starts with Uri covered in GLITTER *double laugh*. I was charmed immediately. Things moved from there with Uri making other mishaps and well, his sexy neighbor helps him got through the disaster. And overall, this is pretty sweet. I loved Uri and his resignation about people wishing him Christmas. I loved Oscar for not letting Uri celebrating his Hanukkah alone, and that he was curious and respectable enough with Uri’s faith.

And despite what seemingly a very fast progress between Uri and Oscar, but the holiday charm — and the fact that they have been neighbor first rather than complete strangers — soothes my complaining self.

Overall Impression: I really liked it

*I received a copy of this book from the publisher in return for a fair and honest review.*
