Blurb: Kerry has hated Rhys from the moment she set eyes on him. They’ve never had an encounter that didn’t end with them both enraged. Paired up at his brother’s wedding, their clashing personalities come to a head and a daring wager is made. Rhys agrees to submit to Kerry for a single evening if she will do the same. Considering the sexual flavors Rhys has enjoyed in his past, it’s one bet Rhys is sure he can’t lose. But Kerry has a few secrets of her own and her plans for him land Rhys in a place he never expected, the arms of sexy Italian solicitor, Asher D’Ettore.
Asher becomes an obsession Rhys can’t shake. His alpha ways and confident mannerisms render all of Rhys’ usual charm useless. With his hard-earned reputation in the media spotlight, Rhys is forced to make a choice between his public persona and true love.
Inside Scoop: This sexy tale includes graphic sexual male on male encounters and fetish club references which could have you searching for one in your area.
While this is part of a series (it’s Book 3 ), there is no need to have read the first two books.
Rhys is a MMA fighter at the top of his game and the Middleweight champion when he returns to his home town of Vegas for his brother’s wedding. He left 8 months previously for personal reasons and was resistant to return, but he and his brothers have a deep emotional bond.
At the wedding, Rhys is taunted by Kerry, a woman with whom he has a love/hate relationship into submitting to her for an evening, what she wants is for Rhys to meet Asher. Asher – a beautiful successful Italian lawyer- the two are instantly attracted and have a passionate night together.
After their night, Rhys and Asher dance around each other, clearly attracted but slightly hesitant; there is some minor confusion which is swiftly resolved and then they embark on an intense and physical relationship.
Rhys and Ash are both completely Alpha males, both incredibly successful, physically and emotionally beautiful, yet neither of them has met his emotional match. Both of them are ripe for a mutually supportive relationship. While this should have been unbelievable, it actually wasn’t. Rhys and Ash came across as lovely sympathetic characters, Ash in particular, and I really started to care about them. Their love affair is sweet and sexy.
Of course, the path of true love does not always run smooth, and these guys don’t admit to their feelings, so there is the classic misunderstanding – watching the two of them dance around their feelings, neither one wanting to be the first to admit it, was nicely done.
This is exactly what it says on the tin, an erotic novella. Unequaled is fun and sexy. The MC’s are attractive, sexy and vulnerable, a great way to wile away a couple of hours.
Overall Impression: I liked it
