Blurb:  Urban Sinclair thinks he has it all. An amazing life, a nice house he shares with Tyson, his boyfriend of eight years. Urban learns the hard way that life is full of unexpected surprises and people aren’t always as happy as he thinks. Unexpectedly single and heartbroken, Urban knows he can only take it one day at a time. A daunting endeavor while he still shares a house with the man responsible for shattering his heart.

Before Urban can even begin grieving, let alone moving on, Tyson makes a shocking revelation that spins his world around for an extra loop. Can this new surprise show Urban that life isn’t about endings but about making memories and sharing limitless new beginnings?

So what does one do to keep the flames alive after many years together? Well, not what Tyson originally planned that’s for sure LOL! This was probably the only part of the story that bugged me; bad communication causing unnecessary emotions. However, Tyson’s intent was completely filled with love, so I moved passed that quickly.

The story starts off with a stressful and life changing conversation between Urban and his long-term partner, Tyson. Urban is left confused and heartbroken, and the reader experiences his emotions right along with him. Wasn’t sure I was going to like the direction this story was heading. We get thrown right into the confusion that Urban is experiencing, his heart break and ultimately his anger. However, this is a short story and very quickly takes a sharp turn into happy land.

These two guys are adorable. Their love for each other, the respect, the admiration and the desire they have for each other is sweet and sexy as hell. However, every relationship has growing pains, and lovers can fall into a rut. Tyson wants to make sure that doesn’t happen with him and Urban, so he makes plans a unique celebration for Urban’s Birthday. This is where the story shines with sexy shenanigans and goofy times. I would love to know where Tyson learned his version of scoring bases on a date?? LOL!

I highly recommend this feel good story for everyone. I smiled lots and rooted for Tyson to finally get to home plate. 😀

Overall Impression: I really liked it!

*I received a copy of this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review.*
