Blurb:  Vegas is a hot phone sex operator who knows just how to make your deepest, darkest fantasies come true either with a gentle whisper in your ear or with a rough growling command. When he’s in control, you know you’re in good hands. Vegas can tickle or scratch whatever itch or fetish a caller can throw at him.

But his job at the exclusive ‘Black Vanilla’ has its dark side, which becomes all too clear when Vegas receives a call one night that hits a little too close to home.

Somewhere out there, someone’s watching him. Someone who’s taken their fantasy one step too far. It isn’t long before Vegas finds himself entangled in a web of dark and dangerous obsession. An obsession that can only end one way.

“Dirty Talk” will take you deep into the world of stimulating oral desire and blur the lines that exist between our ultimate fantasies and harsh reality.

Review: This book was a bit of a surprise. I was expecting a some hot dirty talkin sex line worker and I’m not really sure what else, but I definitely didn’t see it going the way it did.  It wasn’t typical in that you never really knew who the secondary MC was, or even who you wanted it to be.

Vegas is a sweet guy who had a rough start after moving to NYC. He ended up falling for the wrong guy who turned controlling and a bit abusive. Picking up the pieces, he then became roommates with his new best friend, London, who also convinces him to work as a sex phone operator where he works. All goes well until he gets a creepy phone call that turns into the stalker from hell.

All through this, you never quite know who is good and who isn’t. Is it Vegas’ boss who now shows interest? Is it his abusive controlling ex? The new guy he just met and hit it off with? I’ll say that the truth was a bit of a shocker, one that I definitely did not see coming. But it all kept me on the edge of my seat and my fingers turning pages.

There were a few things that niggled at me with this story. The names were a bit too over the top for me. Everyone was named after a location or something similar, Vegas, Jersey, London, Dakota, etc. They all blended after a while, especially since they weren’t merely “stage” names. In addition, there were a few tiny plot holes or things that just didn’t quite add up for me. But, overall, this was a, dare I say, a fun, story. It was fast-paced and rather exciting, keeping me on edge and eager to get to the bottom of things. At the end, I still wasn’t sure I accomplished that with a final twist that threw me completely off.

This was my first book by this author, and I quite liked the style in which it was written. It was full of twists and turns with some sweet and sexy thrown in to top it all off. I will definitely be looking for more.

Overall Impression: I really liked it

*I received a copy of this book from the publisher in return for a fair and honest review.*
