Blurb: Charlie is a happy Unicorn. He has a place to live, all the sugar he could ask for, friends, and he’s safe. Or, at least he was until some Vampire put a billion dollar bounty on his head. Not wanting to put his friends in danger, Charlie leaves and makes a run for it on his own.
Ever since William was cursed with immortality, he knew he’d never be able to find someone to love. But one look at Charlie challenges that thought and sends William’s life spinning.
Will William be able to rescue Charlie? Or was their love doomed from the very beginning?
Review: This is a short and funny – low steam book – about a group of hysterical misfits who live in an abandoned insane asylum. This is Charlie’s story and he’s the world’s last unicorn.
Some crazy vampire calls a hunt on him – dead or alive – for a billion dollars and suddenly Charlie is on the run.
When William, a knight cursed with immortality for sleeping with his King – hears about this hunt, he knows the right thing is to save the unicorn. But… Charlie isn’t so trusting. (In fact, he shoots him three times the first time they meet!)
But eventually William and his crazy side-kick – I can’t pronounce her name – Lisa I called her – persuades Charlie he needs help.
**
So… ignore the cover – this is a cute and fun story. Charlie is described not as a Palomino like the cover would suggest – but a white unicorn with a swirly rainbow horn and rainbow mane and golden hooves. He is funny, sarcastic and likes his sex rough!
William and Lisa are funny too as are all the other paranormals they run across.
If you’re looking for a light, funny, low steam love story that’s pretty short – this is up your alley! With a HEA!!
Overall Impression: I really liked it
