Blurb: So, all Mischa really wanted was sex. Hot, kinky sex, and preferably lots of it. But then he got a sub, and then the sub turned into a fiancé, and now apparently Mischa is supposed to settle down and be all domesticated. However, Mischa does not do tame.

Well, at least he didn’t use to. Now he’s beginning to think that yes, he does indeed do tame. Unfortunately, his sub doesn’t seem to get that.

Tom knew that Mischa was a handful. Hell, that’s basically what made Tom fall head over heals for him. But figuring out how to handle his postgraduate studies combined with a long-distance relationship is driving him nuts. And not in the great, Mischa-is-torturing-me-with-kinky-sex-toys way (even though that happens, too. A lot). More like in the this-is-killing-me-slowly-and-I-don’t-know-what-to-do-about-it way. Unfortunately, Mischa finds out and puts his foot down, and then suddenly Tom has some very hard choices to make.

Then there’s Mischa’s busybody bridezilla friend, karate practice with people who actually hit back, and the arrival of the inlaws. That’s when Tom realizes that domesticating a Russian bear may take more work than even he realized.

Warning: An unrepentantly grumpy Dom with an unrepentantly pain-loving sub, kink so hot that the reader will be in imminent danger of blushing, and two characters who do their very best to turn a perfectly nice romance into a porn movie every chance they get.

Review: It has been some time since I have read about Mischa and Tom, and it was really nice to catch up with them again. Their relationship is solid and they continue to be in tune with each other’s needs, both with respect to the BDSM, as well as the rest of their relationship. In this installment, they are engaged but living apart with Mischa in Boston while Tom pursues the final two years of obtaining his PhD.

When they are finally able to coordinate a visit, it becomes clear to Mischa that things aren’t quite working out so well for either of them; he really misses Tom, though he tries to give him his independence; and Tom misses Mischa but feels it’s important for him to reach his goal. Neither wants the other to give up something which would enable them to be together that would, in the long run, negatively affect their feelings through resentment.

Things have a way of working themselves out though before too much strife is placed upon this couple. They have amazing scenes when they are together, but just as importantly, have quality time outside of the scenes as well. Mischa wants to be everything for Tom without crowding him, and it isn’t always easy. Thankfully, they realize what’s important and their communication improves greatly.

Mischa and Tom play pretty heavily with regards to the BDSM. In that respect, this might not be for those who just like to dabble a bit. Mischa is a bit of a sadist, though he is extremely caring and thoughtful. And Tom is a bit of a pain junkie as well, so while they make a perfect match, their play is a little more intense and hardcore than some. But, throughout it all, the emotions and feelings, love and devotion all shine through making the scenes that much more meaningful.

Oh, and in the middle of all of this, they are planning a wedding, or their friend is going crazy planning their wedding. It ended up working perfectly and rounded out this story very well. It was great visiting these guys again, and I will definitely be looking out for more from this author.

Overall Impression: I really liked it

*I received a copy of this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review.*
