Blurb: When paralegal omega Ryan is moved onto his crush’s team, it was only a matter of time before the law office rule of no employee dating was broken.

Now, as Ryan’s boss, wealthy alpha law firm partner Marcus has a secret pregnancy and relationship with Ryan to hide or they’ll both lose their jobs.

But the secret pregnancy is the least of their problems when Ryan’s ultra conservative parents find out…

Workplace unresolved tension. A forbidden romance. An unplanned pregnancy. Can a commitment-phobic alpha and a reluctant omega seize their chance at happiness?

Lawyer’s Secret Omega is a 64,000 word non-shifter mpreg romance with a secret pregnancy, secret relationship, surprise wedding, an Alpha to the rescue, time with the adorable baby, steamy times in the boss’s office and HEA.

Review:

When I read the blurb for this book, I was really intrigued to see how the author would portray the mpreg aspect of the story when neither character was a shifter. I also liked that there were alphas and omegas but, again, neither were shifters. It left me very intrigued so I couldn’t wait to get into this one. And I’m so glad I did because I really loved the story. I liked that Ryan was an omega paralegal, which is rare in this world as people didn’t expect an omega to have the drive or temperament to do the job effectively. As for Marcus, I liked that he tried so hard to stay away from Ryan and then Ryan was moved to his area. I loved that he struggled with his attraction. He was such a strong character but the chemistry between the two was amazing. I absolutely adored it and how soft Marcus would get but how fierce Ryan could get as well. I just wish we had more time with them because I would have loved to see more of them getting settled and embrace their coupledom.

I really enjoyed this one but I had a few issues with it. There was too much sex for my liking but I thought the ending was a little too easily wrapped up for what happened. I mean, the problem with Ryan’s parents was a bit unbelievable for me, especially with how he just went along with everything but the way it was resolved left me wanting something a little more complex and permanent. Also, I would have really liked to see the intricacies of the baby being born. That’s one thing we don’t see often in mpreg, the logistics of how a male can push the baby out. I was a little saddened that this one didn’t show that.

In the end, though, I absolutely loved this book. Once I started it, I couldn’t put it down. I loved Ryan and Marcus as characters but adored them as a couple. Their chemistry was amazing and I really enjoyed the different take on the alpha/omega aspect and the mpreg with it. I can’t wait to see who gets their story next and hope we don’t have to wait too long!

Overall Impression: I really liked it!
