Exclusive Excerpt from A Boy Made of Sunshine
by Colette Davison
“Are you up for playing a game?” Felix asked, barging into the house.
“No.”
Felix turned on his best puppy dog eyes. Liam was starting to hate that look on Felix’s face because it was too damned hard to resist.
“What game?” Liam asked, even though he was sure he’d regret it.
“Twenty-one questions.” Felix tipped his head as he looked at the bowl. “There are loads more than twenty-one in here, so I guess it’s more a game of as many as we can get through before we finish the wine.” He winked at Liam.
“Isn’t that a game teenagers play?” Liam muttered.
“I want to get to know you better, and I thought this would be a fun way to do it.” Felix marched off towards the lounge.
Liam glanced up at the ceiling, wondering despairingly what sort of evening he was in for.
“Or we could just talk,” he said as he followed Felix. “Like adults.”
“Where would be the fun in that?” Felix asked as he put the bowl, wine, and glasses down on the coffee table. “Do you have a corkscrew?”
“Kitchen.”
Felix stared at him, smiling.
“I’m not your slave,” Liam growled. “Get it yourself.”
“But you promised to take care of me, Daddy,” Felix teased. “I carried the heavy bottle of wine over here. Surely the least you could do is get the corkscrew?”
“You’re annoying.”
“So you keep telling me.” Felix’s eyes sparkled. “But you still can’t keep away from me.”
“You came here.”
“Nope. I haven’t come here yet. Maybe you can remedy that by the end of the night.” He grinned broadly.
Liam let out an exasperated sigh before trudging to the kitchen to retrieve a corkscrew. Felix really was ridiculous at times. Well, most of the time. And yet that ridiculousness kept Liam on his toes and made him smile despite himself. He’d never met anyone quite like Felix.
About A Boy Made of Sunshine
After taking early retirement, Liam is happy avoiding people and tending to his roses. Or he was, until young film star Felix moves in next door.
With his cheeky, persistent, and very naughty behaviour, Felix gets under Liam’s skin instantly.
Felix needs Liam to teach him how to behave, but will calling the older man Daddy be enough to bring sunshine into Liam’s life?
A boy Made of Sunshine is a standalone gay romance, with mild D/s play, Daddy kink, a cute Dalmatian puppy, a ridiculous glow in the dark toy, and lots of brattish behaviour.
