Release Blitz: Stuck With You by Jay Northcote

Stuck With You by Jay Northcote

Two clashing colleagues stuck together for Christmas—will opposites eventually attract?

Patrick has been single since he broke up with his cheating ex almost a year ago. With Christmas looming, he’s resigned to spending it alone with only memories of happier times for company. When a business trip with a co-worker leaves them stranded in the Lake District due to heavy snow, it seems Patrick will have company for Christmas after all. It’s a shame his companion is Kyle, who’s undeniably attractive, but annoying as hell.

Aware of Patrick’s reluctant admiration, Kyle basks in the attention even though Patrick isn’t the type of man he normally goes for. Averse to relationships after being hurt in the past, Kyle enjoys the occasional hook up, but has given up on seeking anything more meaningful.

Stuck together, their antagonism escalates along with a heavy dose of sexual tension until it finally ignites. What starts as a Christmas fling soon feels like something special; but will their tentative connection melt away as the snow thaws? If they’re going to take a chance on finding happiness together, they’ll have to put their differences aside and learn to trust one another.

Contains: enemies-to-lovers, snowball fights, bickering, spanking, a cute dog, a wise old lady, mistletoe, and a happy ending (of course).

Exclusive Excerpt from Lost and Found

by Quin Perin

“So, missed me?” Carter blurted out as he spread his legs and arms on the couch, arching his back. He was naked, and I was still trying to get my breathing under control. It felt like I’d just finished a marathon, but Carter was hardly bothered.

Fucking kid. Just another reminder that he was too young for me.

“Missed you?” I scoffed, sitting upright and soon regretting the decision. My head spun. And I made a mental note I was too old to fuck him standing up, then doggy style and then over the back of the couch. It’d been a bit much, although I’d loved every second of it.

Carter was insatiable. And he didn’t care whether he destroyed me or not.

“Yeah.” This time, his voice turned softer, dreamy almost. He turned his head, toes wiggling. For a moment, he looked dead serious until that teasing grin split his face.

Truth be told, between you and me, I did miss his crazy hunger for me.

“You’re killing me, boy,” I said, but I hardly meant it. My doctor had pointed out I was in good shape. Thanks to trying to keep up with Carter, I ate healthier, worked out regularly and had something to look forward to. Our kinky calls as well as the live action every few months.

“Yeah, yeah. C’mon, old man,” he teased and then practically jumped to his feet. Oh God, I wanted to cry and simultaneously tap into his secret energy stash. No more.

“Let’s go out.”

“No.” But it didn’t seem like he wanted to listen. Carter was already collecting his clothes from the floor and slipping on his briefs.

“Let’s have a drink. I am twenty-one now. I can drink!” He sounded cheerful. He was half my age. Half. My. Age. Reality crashed into me again.

I cringed. “Thanks for the reminder.”

“Oh, c’mon, don’t sulk.” Slipping on a sock, Carter bounced on one foot and then hunted down the other one. Our Daddy/boy play didn’t weave its way throughout all of our interactions, so him speaking to me like that wasn’t unusual. I just let it be. And quite frankly, I enjoyed his carefree, youthful behavior.

“Under the chair.” I pointed at the crumpled sock and then rubbed my hands over my face. “And, no, Carter, we are not going out.”

“Why?”

“People could—”

“…see us?” Carter finished, bluntly staring at me. He didn’t seem to care. He didn’t see the problem. But it was a huge fucking problem. If his parents saw us, or someone who knew them, him. God, the thought of it made my stomach knot and twist.

“Yeah, no, we are not going out.”

“Dave.” Suddenly, there wasn’t any playful note in his tone. Serious, so damn serious and grown up, he stared down at me on the sofa as though he was about to scold me. “Daddy.”

“Playtime is over.”

To Be Honest by S.M. James: Exclusive Excerpt & Giveaway!

Blogger_Exclusive Excerpt

Exclusive Excerpt from To Be Honest

by S.M. James

Tyler’s got tickets to some steamboat thing next morning and Link flat out refuses to go because of his sea sickness. I feel bad for the relief that washes over me at getting away from Anah, but this road trip is making it very clear that even the closest of friends can’t handle so much time in each other’s pockets.

The Steamboat Natchez has a huge paddle wheel at the back that cuts through the murky water of the Mississippi. There’s jazz music playing inside and we make our way to the upper deck to stand out at the balcony. It’s such a perfect day, I can barely believe our luck.

This time Tyler’s wearing a baseball hat, keeping his hair under control, and I kind of miss the red wig.

“What are you smirking about?” he asks, as he licks his lips. I don’t even think he realizes he’s done it.

“Your hair is safe,” I say, tweaking the brim of his hat.

“Yeah.” He grimaces. “I actually had to brush it last time. Not an experience I ever want to relive.”

“Fair enough.”

“So, how are you enjoying your road trip?”

Hmm … now that’s an interesting question. I cross my arms over the handrail and pretend to be interested in the people on the lower deck as I think. “It’s been an experience.”

“And now for a real answer?” He arches an eyebrow at me and there’s a knowing kind of spark in his eye.

“Okay. I’ve both loved and hated it.”

“Me too.”

Of course he has. Tyler is basically my straight soul mate. It’s unbelievable how we just get each other. I nod. “I hate the lack of privacy, but love how much I’ve experienced, and how it’s making me look differently at myself.”

“That’s really good, Angus.”

I smile. “What about you?”

“I’ve also hated the lack of privacy. But loved spending so much time with you.”

My stomach swoops as my head snaps toward him, and I’m sure the smile I’m wearing is all kinds of ridiculous. “Yeah. I meant that too.”

“Sure you did.” He sniggers, nudging his elbow into mine.

“No, seriously. Link’s a pain in the ass, Anah is getting on my nerves, but you’re basically perfect.” And I shut up there before I start going overboard and really embarrass myself.

He props his chin on his palm and kind of looks at me out of the corner of his eye. I keep waiting for him to say something that never comes.

Shit—have I just given myself away?

Tyler’s uncharacteristically quiet all through the trip and even as we’re leaving the boat, he’s still randomly giving me those weird side-eye looks.

My stomach squirms at the thought I’ve made him uncomfortable.

I want to say something to take it back, to make everything better, but my brain is so blank it might as well be switched off.

We head for the lunch place where we’re meeting Anah and Link, and it’s like a switch has flipped. Tyler goes from pensive to excitable and if I didn’t know any better, I would’ve thought he’d taken something. I push the weird olive pasta around my plate with my fork, as Tyler, Link, and Anah flow from one conversation to the next so quickly I can’t keep up. It’s like the last week never happened.

Anah explodes into fits of giggles, slapping her hand over her mouth. Tyler looks pretty proud of himself as Link claps him on the shoulder. The touch is so quick and casual, I can’t help wonder what it would be like to be able to touch Tyler without my heart going haywire. He’s wearing his glasses again, and where he would normally catch my eye during a lull in conversation, he seems to be making a concentrated effort not to look at me.

I push my plate into the middle of the table, appetite well and truly gone.

“So I’m assuming we’re going to the parade tonight,” Anah says, looking to me for confirmation.

“That’s where I’ll be. You guys can do whatever you want.” It definitely comes out with more attitude than I mean.

After lunch, we head back to the hotel to get ready. Even through the thick glass of our hotel room window, I can make out the sounds from the street below. There already seems to be hundreds of people out there, and this burst of determination tears through me, spurred on by my deep-seated insecurities over Scotty.

I spend longer than usual getting ready. Anah does my hair in that stylish, messy way she did in New York, and as I watch her line her eyes with a dark black pencil, this idea comes to me.

“Guys wear that too, right?” I ask, hesitantly. The last thing I want is for her to think I’m being all girly, but the few guys I’ve seen wear eyeliner looked ridiculously hot. And I really want to hook up with someone tonight.

A slow, cheeky smile unfurls across her face. “Angus, my darling, I thought you’d never ask.”

She follows my instructions to make sure it’s subtle, but somehow I end up with glitter powder all under my eyes and over my cheekbones.

I stare at myself in the mirror, nose scrunched up, as I seriously deliberate whether or not to wash it off. It’s a bit much, super obvious against my dark skin, but I can’t stop looking at myself.

Tyler joins us, and his eyes are trained to the mirror as he messes with his hair.

I wait for him to notice, but either he’s seriously concerned about getting his hair right, or he’s doing that thing where he’s not looking at me again.

I clear my throat. “How does it look?”

Tyler glances at my reflection, and legitimately does a double take. He turns to face me properly and doesn’t say anything for a second. “Wow.”

“Is it too much?”

He jerks his head to the side a little, like he’s shooing a fly, and he doesn’t seem to know what to say. His eyes are all wide, and his lips are parted just barely, in a way that really makes me want to kiss him.

“Come here, T,” Anah says, stepping between us and breaking the moment. She attacks him with the eyeliner too, and once his normally unruly hair is parted low on the side and big on top, he’s not adorkable anymore.

Just looking at him makes my blood burn.

Secrets Revealed by A.G. Carothers: Exclusive Excerpt & Giveaway!

Exclusive Excerpt from Secrets Revealed

by A.G. Carothers

Xander nearly lost control of his pending climax when Matt’s emotions hit him full force. His heart swelled with the love he felt from Matt. Elation coursed through Matt as his body spasmed against Xander and throbbed inside of him.

Instincts took over Xander as soon as Matt released his bite on his neck. He stood up, Matt’s cock just barely softened enough to not tear Xander. He turned around and pulled Matt up with a cupped hand on the back of his neck. Xander kissed him, licking his own blood off Matt’s lips and then flipped him around. Matt bent over, grabbed the lower bar, and spread his legs, looking over his shoulder with a giddy smile. Barely conscious of grabbing the lube bottle and dripping some down over Matt, Xander ran a hand between his ass cheeks. Fisting his cock with his lubed hand, he wrapped his other arm around Matt’s waist and guided himself in. As soon as the head of Xander’s cock was all the way in, he slammed in the rest. Matt roared, his cock back to full mast despite the burning pain Xander knew he was inflicting.

“Fuck,” Xander moaned out as Matt’s squeezed around him. Taking a deep breath to pull himself away from the edge of orgasming right there, Xander slowly pulled out before thrusting hard and fast back in. He repeated pulling out slowly and thrusting forward hard several times torturing himself with its inconsistency, but he did it anyway loving every second of it. He tried to hold back, the need to claim Matt and complete their bond pushed him to make Matt feel every thrust thoroughly.

Xander leaned over and pulled Matt up flush to his chest, licking the back of his neck and head as he did so. The lines between where he ended and Matt begun blurred. He increased his pace, pumping hard and fast. A deep roar came out of Xander’s throat as he sunk his fangs into the curve of Matt’s neck and shoulder. Blood hit his tongue, and he could feel their magic joining together again, solidifying the bond that was started.

The Awakening by A. Drew: Exclusive Excerpt & Giveaway!

Exclusive Excerpt from The Awakening

by A. Drew

When he stepped out of the freezer-like hospital, he had a sudden urge to kiss the warm ground outside. He was finally out of that place, hopefully not able to see the figures anymore because he was convinced that the reason he saw them there was merely because they died in that place.

His initial euphoria quickly diminished when he noticed some shadows outside the hospital grounds. Some of the ghostly figures even seemed to approach him when they saw his gaze on them.

“Phil? What’s wrong? You stopped walking. Are you in pain, son?

“It’s okay Dad. I’m fine,” he replied in a cagey manner.

“Should we take you back to the hospital?” His father’s worried tone of voice gave him some semblance of comfort that he was not alone.

“Do you think the doctor was wrong when he told me I’ll hallucinate for a while and that it is a normal part of the healing process?”

His dad patted him on the shoulder, and then gently steered him towards the rusty pickup, “I can understand why you doubt the man. He assured me that it was because of the accident and you would still continue to see things around you. Like he said, you need to remind yourself they are not real, son.”

His mother extended her arms tightly around his body, soothed him even more and as if to agree, he said, “Okay but they look pretty real to me.”

His mother gave him another reassuring hug, “As soon as we arrive home, I’ll give you some of your medication. Wait and see. By tomorrow you’ll experience even less of those unpleasant visions.”

“Yeah, I hope so… I’m really sorry about everything.” He tried very hard to swallow the lump in his throat, hoping not to cry.

His father chimed in as if he was uncomfortable at seeing Phil becoming emotional, “Shhh. We’re glad you’re okay. Let’s all put it behind us for now and go home.”

The day went by without incident, but the night at home was something else. Phil woke up shivering, the room temperature had dropped so low, almost like it was about to snow. What’s going on? It’s summer right now. He even remembered feeling sweaty from the humid heat before retiring to bed. His heart started beating furiously, dreading what he might see in the dark.

He pulled his blanket tightly around him, in a fruitless effort to warm up and feel safer. There was something about cocooning himself that usually soothed some of his anxiety, that was at least until he sniffed an obnoxious odor gently wafting around. He cautiously lifted his head to look around, and in the darkness, he noticed a grey form floating still beside his bed. Initially, he thought one of his parents came to check on him, but the unearthly asthmatic breathing sound along with the foul smell wafting from it, made him withdraw further into his cocoon.

Blurb: Luke Lafontaine survived the past year by not thinking about the father he lost, the dairy farm he couldn’t save from bankruptcy, or his way of life that vanished with the rap of an auctioneer’s hammer. Cleaning up city folks’ trash at the Minnesota State Fair is just another dead-end job.
