Blurb: Six foot seven inch, 300 pound Jamal Jones loves football, so when he finds out the ultra-conservative owner of his new pro football team fired their current center because he’s gay, bisexual Jamal decides to stay in the closet and hang with the females. Then, at a small drag show, he comes face-to-face with his sexual fantasy in the form of Trixie LaRue, a drag queen so exquisitely convincing she scrambles Jamal’s hormones — and his resolve to nurse his straight side.

Trevor Landry, aka Trixie LaRue, hides more than his genitals. A mathematician so brilliant he can’t be measured, Trevor disguises his astronomical IQ and his quirk for women’s clothes behind his act as a gay activist undergrad at Southern California University.

To Trevor, Jamal is the answer to a dream — a man who can love and accept both his personas. When he discovers Jamal’s future is threatened if he’s seen with a guy, Trevor becomes Trixie to let Jamal pass as straight. But Trevor risks his position every time he puts on a dress. Is there a closet big enough to hold a football pro and a drag queen?

First by K.C. Wells + Exclusive Excerpt & Giveaway!

Final

An Excerpt from First

by K.C. Wells

“I take it Mike hasn’t called yet.” Ben was watching him, leaning against the wall, coffee mug in hand.

“Not yet, no.” He hadn’t wanted to tell Ben what he’d asked of Mike, but it seemed mean considering all the trouble Caroline, Bethany, and Ben had gone to. And besides, he might need Ben’s help if Mike….

His phone rang. Tommy peered at the screen and caught his breath. Mike.

“Well, answer it,” Ben said with a smirk.

Tommy glanced up at him. “Can… can I have some privacy, please?”

Ben’s eyes widened. “It’s him, isn’t it?” When Tommy nodded, Ben grinned. “I’ll be in my room. Come find me when you’re done. I wanna hear all about it.” And with that he hurriedly left the room, closing the door behind him.

Tommy clicked on Answer. “Hey.”

“I was beginning to think you didn’t want to talk to me.” Mike sounded amused.

“No, no, I was talkin’ to Ben,” Tommy explained rapidly. “How’re you?” He groaned inwardly at his attempts at conversation, but his nerves had got the better of him.

“I’m fine, thank you for asking.” Mike sounded pleased. “Okay, I’m sure you want to know what my decision is.”

Oh shit. “Okay,” he said slowly, drawing out the syllables.

“Saturday evening. My house. Dinner.”

There was a husky quality to Mike’s voice that went straight to Tommy’s dick.

“I’ll text you the address. Arrive six-ish. That sound good?”

“Yeah.” The word came out as a croak.

“Good. Then I’ll see you Saturday.” There was a pause. “Oh, and Tommy? Plan on staying the night.” Then the call disconnected.

Tommy’s room was suddenly very quiet.

He stared at the phone. Did he just say what I think he said? Okay, so Mike hadn’t come right out and said it, but Tommy’d have to be an idiot to not get the message.

Oh. My. Lord. Butterflies had invaded his stomach and were tramping all over it with little tiny boots. His heart was clearly trying to see just how hard it could pound before it burst inside his chest. His skin tingled everywhere, and as for his dick? No wonder he felt light-headed.

About First

26173830It’s taken Tommy Newsome a while to get his head around being gay.

Growing up in a small town in Georgia, hasn’t prepared him for the more liberal life of a student at the university in Athens. Add to that the teachings of his parents and his church, and you have one shy young man who feels out of his depth. Working on his daddy’s farm hasn’t given him any chance of a social life, certainly not one like the clubs of Atlanta have on offer. Not that Tommy feels comfortable when he gets to sample it—Momma’s lectures still ring loudly inside his head.

All that changes when he goes to his first gay bar and sets eyes on Mike Scott.

When Mike’s not behind the bar at Woofs, he’s busy with his life as adult entertainer Scott Masters. Twenty years in the industry and the times, they are a-changing. Mike’s not had much luck in the relationship department, but as his mom is fond of telling him, you keep fishing in the same pond, you’re gonna reel in the same kind of fish. Maybe it’s time for a change.

And then a beautiful young man asks Mike to be his first….

About K.C. Wells

Born and raised in the north-west of England, K.C. WELLS always loved writing. Words were important. Full stop. However, when childhood gave way to adulthood, the writing ceased, as life got in the way. K.C. discovered erotic fiction in 2009, when the purchase of a ménage storyline led to the startling discovery that reading about men in love was damn hot. In 2012, arriving at a really low point in life led to the desperate need to do something creative. An even bigger discovery waited in the wings—writing about men in love was even hotter….

K.C. now writes full-time and is loving every minute of her new career. The laptop still has no idea of what hit it… it only knows that it wants a rest, please. And it now has to get used to the idea that where K.C goes, it goes.

And as for those men in love that she writes about? The list of stories just waiting to be written is getting longer… and longer….
